Home Farm Dental has been established in 1989 by the current practice principle. We are situated within a complex comprising of a medical centre, a pharmacy, a SureStart centre, supermarket, and newsagents, with ample free car parking.
Our clinic has a modern feel with wheelchair friendly ground floor facilities which include an access for the disabled. Regrettably, we currently do not have toilet facilities for the disabled. Please contact our reception for alternatives.
We have 2 full-time surgeries running with 3 dentists and a team of 4 support staff who provide a caring and patient-centred approach to dental care. The practice has a large established NHS patient base and still caters for new patients wishing to join.
Each surgery has its own intra-oral radiography unit and is computerised with digital radiography. To further enhance the patient experience both surgeries are equipped with the latest Medi-vision patient education software and digital photography. The reception area is purposefully designed with a spacious waiting area and is wheelchair accessible.
We take pride in caring for all age groups, from infants to the elderly, and offer a full range of treatments. Our team of 3 highly experience dentists are able to provide both NHS and private treatments. So, as a patient of ours, you have a choice of which medical professional cares for your smile based on your preference.
Our practice team comprises three experienced dentists and a team of three supporting staff which include practice manager/receptionist, and two DCPs. The principle is an experienced GDP with special interest in endodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
All the practice team pride themselves in providing a caring, relaxed and professional atmosphere for patients. The practice is proud to have achieved the 'Investors in People Award' in 2000 and is committed to providing continual staff development, through tailored training programs.
Our commitment to ensuring we provide a high standard of ethical dentistry is reflected in the practice achieving the 'BDA Good Practice Award' in 2007 and we continue to hold this status.
All new practice patients are provided a practice information leaflet and will be booked in initially for a full dental examination to assess their current level of oral and dental health. This is then followed by tailored dental advice to help you look after your teeth better, and to prevent future dental disease. It is our belief that prevention is better than cure.
Our practice is happy to accept patients of all ages from infants to the elderly, and of all backgrounds. We have zero tolerance policy for patients displaying abusive, aggressive, or violent behaviour.
We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. However, from time to time we may need to release dental records to Leicester City NHS or the NHS Business Service Authority as part of our ongoing clinical review process. We will try and contact you before releasing your dental record.
